Greetings to all New and Returning Vendors,

Once again the Spring Hill Lion’s Club is proud to be the sponsor of the Spring Hill Farmers Market. We are pleased and excited to be providing this wonderful opportunity for our community. The market is 11 years strong and growing every year in both vendors and customers.

Linked here are copies of our Rules & Regulations and our Application Form. We continue to look for ways to “grow the market” and one of the best ways to do this is by offering a greater variety of produce that only an extended season can provide. We hope these changes will allow both our vendors and our customers an enhanced market experience. I have also enclosed a copy of the KDHE requirements for prepared foods. If applicable, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these rules and make sure your baked goods, jams, jellies etc. are labeled appropriately. This means the common name, your name and address (no PO Box), net weight or numerical count and the list of ingredients in the descending order of predominance. We will not be able to allow the sale of prepared foods that do not meet these criteria. If you intend to offer samples of your food items, please contact me for KDHE guidelines. This includes fresh fruits and vegetables.

We are always looking for ways to encourage increased market attendance including entertainment and educational experiences. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions that you may have. I look forward to meeting and sharing with all of you during this new and exciting market season.

Sincerely,

Patti Stites – Market Manager
